Even though I wasn't alive, this moment has importance to me partly due to a recording my dad made of the BBC radio broadcast of the whole event. He did this on a domestic reel to reel and I recently transferred this on to a digital format and uploaded the result, plus some images courtesy of NASA on to You Tube.
I always appreciate being able to see/hear these unedited news coverage events.
