Bill Cunningham is one of the reporters who makes me love the New York Times. He's a fashion reporter. But not in the normal sense where he goes to the fashion shows and comments on designers. He's a street reporter. He's like the
Sartorialist but is more interested in capturing the fashion feel of the city in aggregate. He takes his camera, goes out into the streets of NY (normally 5th Ave) and notices what people are wearing to spot trends. Then he does a little photojournal post on what he's learned. He's a delightful character and his posts are always fun.
This week's edition has him commenting less on fashion and more on a popular winter sport in this town, this time of year - puddle jumping.
