I saw a useful way to use photos on a phone's messaging service today. A friend wanted to meet for lunch and and took a screenshot of the entry for the lunch place he wanted to go to. He then sent this via text (photo) message. It was an easy way to communicate a lot of information (picture worth a 1000 words).
It begs the question why more apps aren't designed like this. I've run into this a lot. Why can't I load screens from phone apps or web pages into SMS/MMS more easily and ubiquitously. Saving the screen shot is useful but not elegant.
