Duncan Jones (David Bowie's son), who directed Moon, has a new film coming out in 2011 that looks interesting. Has a Memento/Ground Hog Day feel to it.
In other news Shane Carruth who made (and I do mean made) the wildly creative Primer has a new film coming out at some point called "A Topiary".
Both make sci-fi movies that don't focus on the "neato" aspects of sci-fi and focus more on the story.
