I finished the new book,
Why We Get Fat, by Gary Taubes yesterday. I didn't like it as much as his first book, Good Calories, Bad Calories (
review here) but then it isn't really written for me. While GC, BC is really an indepth science book, WWGF is more of a simplified version for the lay person. There are some new studies presented which is why I read it. It's still very good but it's just not science-y enough for me. If you're interested in why we have such a hard time losing weight then this is the book for you.
