brow beating

Unruly eyebrow hair on men. Can someone explain this to me? How do you look in the mirror in the morning as you are getting ready for work and not notice the thick forest of hair emanating from your brow? How do you stand there and make the assessment you are ready to go out in public when you've got a rat's nest of eyebrows impeding your vision? How? Your head hair gets long and unruly and you get it cut. Eyebrow hair is close to your head hair. Shouldn't you be making the same kind of aesthetic judgments in both areas? Are they preparing for the potential loss of hair so they can use the eyebrow hair as a combover? Someone please explain this to me.
