hard work and intelligence

Fascinating article on the effects of praising your kids for hard work versus praising them because they are intelligent. The usual caveats apply on believing this or not because I haven't seen the published paper. In essence kids praised for being smart take less risks (don't want to look dumb) and perform poorly over time (they assume they are smart and can do things without trying that hard). Kids praised for doing well because they worked hard do the opposite.
